Wade, an '06 alum, was more than thrilled to be with the theatre department at East High. In his 4 years he participated in a plethora of shows, some at East and some outside of school with such organizations as Music Theatre for Young People, and other community theatres. His freshmen year he was cast as Wes Warnicker in Footloose, which was the beginning of his newly found future. He was then privileged to be part of the wonderful chorus in Once Upon a Mattress in 2003, and a performer in the amazing production of Nights of Broadway 2. He could have been seen as Caldwell B. Cladwell in the Wichita premier of Urinetown. Some of his favorite roles include Mr. MacAfee ( Bye Bye Birdie ), Soloist in Nights of Broadway 3 ( "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant" ), and Caldwell B. Cladwell ( Urinetown ). After high school, no matter where he goes, he wishes to pursue a career in Music Theatre.
